The Morbark 223 Flail works alongside high-capacity chippers such as the Morbark 23 Chiparvestor, the 40/36 Whole Tree Drum Chipper, and similar wood processing equipment to deliver efficient bark removal and improved chip quality.
Built for demanding forestry and wood waste applications, the 223 Flail helps maximise fibre recovery while producing a cleaner end product.
Featuring a large 142.24cm x 58.42cm infeed opening, the machine can process logs up to 58.42cm in diameter at feed rates of approximately 70–150 feet per minute, delivering excellent throughput and material handling efficiency.
The advanced Morbark Integrated Control System (MICS) allows operators to fine-tune both feed rate and flail drum speed, helping maximise bark removal while minimising the loss of valuable fibre. This precise control results in improved chip quality, increased productivity, and more efficient wood processing operations.
