Our Process

Keeping your equipment running, your team supported, and your operation moving with practical, responsive, end to end support.

End to end equipment support and uptime

Keeping your operation running, from the first conversation through to long-term support

What matters isn’t just the machine you bring on site, but how it performs day to day, how it’s supported, and how quickly things are handled when something needs attention.

At Lincom, the way we work is built around that reality.

From the initial enquiry through to parts, service, training, and rebuilds, we stay involved to keep your equipment running properly and your operation moving without unnecessary downtime.

Minimise downtime across your site

Increase output and performance

Keep production moving day to day

A full-service approach to material handling solutions

Most customers come to us looking for heavy industry equipment, whether it’s a new purchase, a project hire, or a way to increase production. What keeps them with us long term is everything that comes after.

Once the equipment is on site, the focus shifts to how it performs day to day: keeping it running properly, managing wear, responding quickly when something goes wrong, and ensuring your team knows how to get the best out of it. It’s this level of support that keeps downtime to a minimum and productivity at its highest.

We operate as a full solution provider across the entire lifecycle. That means equipment, hire, spare parts, field service, refurbishment, and training all working together, backed by a team that understands your site and stays involved long after delivery.

A big part of how we work is flexibility, because no two sites or timelines run exactly the same way. If lead times change, we can put a rental machine in place to keep production moving. If conditions change on site, we adjust with you. And when something goes wrong, you’ve got support available when you need it.

What working with Lincom Group looks like

1. Understanding your operations and requirements

Every job starts with a discussion with our sales team. We take the time to understand how your site runs day to day, the material you’re working with, the output you’re aiming for, the challenges and where things aren’t performing as they should.

From quarry and mining through to agriculture and forestry, recycling, environmental and process, and bulk material systems, we’ve worked across various sectors across the country. This expertise means we’re quickly about to get a read on what’s happening on site and where improvements can be made.

In that initial discussion, we’ll look at:

You’ll be speaking with people who know the machinery, understand the conditions, and can walk you through what will actually work in your environment. From there, we can map out the right approach, keeping your operation moving, reducing downtime, and helping you get more out of the equipment you already rely on.

2. Matching the right solution to your needs

Once we understand the job, we look at the best way to approach it commercially and operationally, not just which machine to supply, but how it will be supported over time and how it fits into the way your site actually runs.

In some cases, that’s a new machine from one of the OEMs we represent. In others, it might be a spare part that gets you up and running again, or a hire solution that suits a project-based timeline. From there, we build out the support around it so the equipment performs properly from day one and continues to do so well into the future.

3. Delivery, mobilisation, and commissioning

Getting a machine to site on time and set up correctly matters as much as choosing the right machine in the first place. We manage the delivery and commissioning process across all of our locations, and our team is experienced in the logistical realities of Australian operations, including remote sites, tight project schedules, and the practical demands of getting equipment up and running quickly.

Our technicians will commission the equipment on site, work through setup with your team, and make sure everything is running the way it should before they leave. For civil contractors facing penalties for project delays or for quarries with production targets to meet, that level of attention at the commissioning stage is what protects the rest of the project’s continuity.

4. Operator and maintenance training

A machine that’s operated incorrectly wears faster, performs below its potential, and creates unnecessary safety risks. Training is one of the most practical investments you can make in the performance and longevity of your equipment, and it’s a core part of how we support our clients.

We offer operator and maintenance training at our dedicated Technical Institute in Brisbane, as well as on-site training for teams who can’t travel. Courses cover safe operation, machine setup, daily maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and best-practice techniques for your specific application and feedstock.

For remote operations where workforce turnover can be high, having a trained local team that knows the equipment reduces your dependence on external service call-outs and keeps productivity at a consistent level.

5. Spare parts when you need them, and where you need them

Downtime waiting on parts is one of the most avoidable costs in materials processing, and it’s an area where the wrong supplier relationship costs you more than just money. Our spare parts team carries a wide range of genuine OEM and alternative stock across our Australian network, with inventory held not only at our national parts centre in Narangba, QLD, but also across all eight of our branches nationwide, ensuring faster access and delivery.

Whether you’re running Powerscreen, Komptech, McLanahan, Morbark, or any other machine in our range, our parts team knows what you need, where it is, and how to get it to you quickly. For remote sites where lead times are a major operational risk, we can work with you to establish pre-stocked parts inventory that keeps critical components on hand.

We’re available 24/7 for parts support, because breakdowns don’t wait for business hours and neither should you.

6. Field service and ongoing support

Our field service engineers are located across our national network and available to travel to your site for breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. From quarries and recycling facilities to remote mine sites in PNG and the Pacific, our technicians are experienced in working across the full range of applications and conditions we service.

And, we don’t just respond to problems; we help you avoid them. Regular preventative maintenance, diagnostic reporting, and proactive recommendations are part of the ongoing service relationship we build with our customers, because the operations that run well in the long term are the ones that stay ahead of maintenance rather than react to failures.

7. Refurbishment and overhaul

At some point in every machine’s life, a full overhaul makes more sense than a replacement. Our refurbishment and overhaul service restores high-hour or worn equipment to near-new condition through full mechanical overhauls, structural repairs, component replacements, and performance testing, extending the working life of your asset without the cost and lead time of buying new.

For operations managing tight capital budgets, or for machines that are fundamentally sound but showing their age, an overhaul is often the most practical and cost-effective path forward.

+ Support since 1995

Supporting heavy industries across Australia since 1995

Since 1995, we’ve worked alongside businesses across quarrying, mining, recycling, and material processing, supporting operations of all sizes, from local operators through to some of the country’s largest companies.

Over that time, we’ve built long-standing relationships by being consistent, responsive, and easy to work with, backed by a team that understands the realities of working on site and what it takes to keep things running day to day.

It’s that experience, combined with a national presence and a practical approach to support, that’s made us a trusted partner across Australia, PNG, and the Pacific.
