The improved chipper hood design provides easier access to the chipper disc for inspections and maintenance, helping reduce downtime and improve serviceability. A generous chipping diameter allows the machine to process larger trees with ease, while each ultrasonically tested chipper disc delivers exceptional strength, reliability, and performance.
Like previous Model 23 Chiparvestors, the 23X features a massive 190.5cm diameter, 12.7cm thick chipper disc capable of processing large volumes of wood efficiently. An integrated dirt separator with deflector helps keep the final wood chip product cleaner and improves overall chip quality.
Key upgrades on the 23X include increased ground clearance with four super single flotation tyres for improved mobility across uneven logging terrain, and a reduced 2.54m transport width for legal transport worldwide. The simplified hydraulic feed system features a 73cm x 106.68cm top feed wheel and a 33.2cm x 106.68cm bottom feed wheel, delivering smooth and efficient material feeding.
A larger work platform also improves operator safety and accessibility during routine chipper disc inspections and maintenance procedures, helping maximise uptime and operational efficiency.
