The Powerscreen Trakpactor 500 is a powerful horizontal shaft impact crusher designed for processing soft to medium-hard materials in both primary and secondary crushing applications.
Ideal for handling natural rock, asphalt, construction materials, recycling, and demolition waste, the machine delivers exceptional productivity and efficient material reduction across demanding job sites.
Material is fed into a large-capacity feed hopper, available in both vibrating grizzly feeder and live pre-screen configurations. Both options feature a selectable crusher bypass system and an optional fines discharge conveyor, improving material handling flexibility and operational efficiency. Intelligent load sensing technology ensures the crusher receives a continuous flow of pre-screened material, helping reduce unnecessary wear and maximise throughput.
The robust impact chamber is equipped with a twin apron, 4-bar rotor design, hydraulic release aprons, hydraulic setting adjustment, and hydraulic overload protection. Driven directly from the engine through an HFO clutch, the Trakpactor 500 delivers excellent fuel efficiency while maintaining high crushing performance. The machine also features advanced conveyor systems with raise and lower functionality to assist with rebar clearance during blockages, improving uptime and safety on site.
